OUR PROGRAM'S LOCATION
Steeped in its origins as a Texas Hill Country cattle
ranch, the historic Red Corral Ranch's affluent
style of accommodations, enriched with family heirlooms,
and supported by meticulous attention to detail, provides
a holistic environment attuned to body, mind and spirit.
Wherever guests wander on the 1,100 acres of the ranch,
they have the opportunity to reconnect to a natural
environment and absorb the serenity of the land –
to become centered.
The peace that permeates the land enhances the quality
of the healing experience. The Ranch staff is sensitive
to the privacy that is needed for Eupsychia's work
and so does not allow other groups access to the Ranch
when we are there. Deep community is formed from the
intense safety that is created as a result of the
privacy.
The top two pictures on the left are the outer and
inner view of the Pavilion, our meeting space. Just
lovely, as you can see, with beautiful woods shipped
in from the owner's midwestern ranch. The great white
peacock, 27 years old, is in full fan posed on the
back porch of Limestone Lodge, our primary rooming
lodge. Limestone Lodge was built in 1939 using the
surrounding indigenous stone so unique to many old
Texas ranches and homes. It has been carefully updated
so all the rooms are heated and air conditioned, have
thick comfortable beds with rich linens and blankets.
Limestone has a refrigerator and there is access close
by to a washer and dryer.
Limestone is within close walking distance to the
Pavilion and the Cookhouse, the open-feeling building
where Briana will serve wonderfully tasty and nutritious
meals each day. The meals satisfy. Vegetarian or partial
vegetarian diets can be accommodated.
DeerView Lodge and some of the other lodges (not
pictured) located up the hill from the Pavilion and
the Cookhouse may also be used for rooming. All the
lodges at Red Corral Ranch are exquisitely built,
2 to 4 bedroom small homes that are comfortable and
homey with full kitchens and a large living area.
They each have washers and dryers as well as hottubs.
Kitchens are stocked with breakfast food, coffee and
a few other amenities, like popcorn.
The swimming pool, near the Pavilion, is fed with
natural spring water. Most prominent among the many
works of art is Red Corral’s walking labyrinth;
40 feet in diameter, faithfully reconstructed from
medieval design, it provides the opportunity for meditation
and introspection on a proven path one-third of a
mile in length.
The organic garden is planted on 3 acres just down
the road! Maybe the new crop of wonderful vegetables
will be ready to nurture our next group that visits
the Ranch.
All rooms are heated and air conditioned at the Ranch
so the extremes of the Texas weather are moderated.
Even with the extreme hot of summer and the cold that
can occur in winter we always notice that the Ranch
temperatures seem to remain rather moderate. Maybe
it's the ambiance we create or simply the magic of
the place.
It is beautiful here as you can begin to see and
feel.
