Psychology is evolving
-- now moving beyond our mere ego identity into knowing that we are both
an ego and a soul. So now we, too, must move on out of our old ways of
reforming a troublesome ego into ways that resolve our limited past and
guide us forward. As ego psychology dies, spiritual psychology is rapidly
becoming known and accepted.
A conscious process naturally occurs when the ego learns to integrate
our unconscious contents as they emerge into the light of awareness. This
awakening process is learned not from text books and outer experts, but
by our own direct experience. We take on the role as the conscious co-creators
that we are.
But how do we access the unconscious mind and reach those parts of ourselves
we’ve not known to integrate or utilize? Jacquelyn will share her
worlds of knowledge gained from her 30 years of guiding seekers through
their awakening.
Together, we will study and experience the following
themes and methods:
Ways to access the unconscious mind in non-ordinary states of
consciousness
How to come into one’s greater identity learn to live as
one’s true Self
How to use the Observer Self who recognizes what we do as we
do it and sees the bigger picture
• How to recognize the blocks and subpersonalities that sabotage
our way of being who we truly are
Counseling methods that transform rather than reform and how to
make the attitude adjustment that upholds this shift

Professional ethics that blend heart and soul with the current laws of
the land are essential to bring balance into todays managed care-battered
systems.
From experience we know that the very same actions can have shades and
degrees of moral value under differing circumstances. Deepening into the
inner life where we find the true ethical workings of the heart brings
a natural and just morality that external controls alone can never provide.
When we are in a wholesome state of mind, our actions will just naturally
be ethical and sound.
This is a forum to discuss ethical issues that you may be confronting,
or have confronted in your practice.
In this evening together, we will discuss ethical dilemmas you are
struggling with and
Traits of the natural ethical and therapeutic practitioner
How to use the ethics of self-empowerment, compassion and restraint
alive in your practice
Ways to satisfy the external controls of managed care without
losing heart or violating your clients well being
Freud was right! Problems of transference and counter-transference
are real especially with issues of intimacy and re-parenting.
What to do when our state of mind is in turmoil and we lose our
sense of proportion or perspective with a client
How to maintain a healthy ongoing self-help practice that supports
your peace of mind

Traditional cultures
and healers have historically used music for healing. Music is known to
be a universal tool for accessing the deeper unconscious or forgotten
patterns stored in the psyche. Known to encourage a light trance state,
music also lifts the consciousness into higher states where spiritual
or psychospiritual experiences are accessed.
Research in the use of guided imagery and music therapy is replete with
positive results. In the language of Western science, music is a physiological
stimulus that leads to an auditory driving of the alpha and theta waves
and enhances trance states where deeper healing can occur within the psyche.
Jacquelyn will share her experience of working with music for over 22
years. She will guide you on various musical journeys and guided imageries
that can enhance or aweken memories from one's past and inspiration for
one's future life. A research paper will be included in this workshop.
During this day-long, you will learn:
The scientific discoveries of working with vibration and frequency
bands
How healing happens when repressed emotion and musical frequencies
match
Simple ways to use music in individual and group settings
The "do's" and "don'ts" of guiding the imagery
process
A 45 minute musical journey to activate your creative imagination.
Shorter samplings, too.
How to help interpret sound, color, and light in your clients'
experiences
