Eupsychia charters a shuttle bus to take the group as a whole to The Center
for New Beginnings, located 80 miles north of Atlanta. Shuttle service is
coordinated through Eupsychia. Please send your flight details to Brenda
in the Eupsychia offices as soon as you know it. If you know it at the time

to drive may access
driving directions from this website or visit
MapQuest for your specific instructions. A map will also be mailed to
you with your confirmation materials.
CATCHING THE SHUTTLE AT THE AIRPORT:
When you've collected your baggage from Baggage Claim in Atlanta
on Friday afternoon, meet everyone in the central seating area
of the Atrium of the airport, near the big clock. Any airport
employee will be happy to direct you. When everyone is gathered
together, our staff will guide the group to the shuttle which
will depart from either the North or South terminal on the
level below baggage claim. The trip to Dahlonega takes about
1 hour and 30 minutes. Airport delays can happen! Please bring
a good book and patience :)
MEAL SPAN:
First Meal is dinner on March 7th at about 7:00 pm. Drivers
please arrive by 6:00 p.m. or before to settle in before the
airport shuttle arrives. The final meal is lunch on March 13th.
The shuttle generally leaves
between
11:30
a.m.
and noon on the final day.
Meals for non-vegetarians and vegetarians can be served. When
you submit your personal information to us, please be sure
to specify your dietary preference. We can only accommodate
special diets to a realistic degree. If your diet is very specific,
please consider bringing some of your own foods. (thanks).
You may also call the Center if you need to discuss dietary
issues with Ann or the chef.
TEMPERATURES AND DRESS:
Temperatures range from the 40's in the evenings to the 70's
during the day. Rain is possible. Always check a national weather
service for forecasts before packing and traveling. Dress casually
and comfortably. During the breathwork process you will want
to wear loose fitting, non-binding clothes. Body temperatures
can sometimes drop during these sessions so sweats are a good
choice on breathwork days.
ITEMS TO BRING/HOW TO PACK:
- Comfortable, loose fitting clothes including raincoat
- Unlined notebook or journal for note-taking and symbol drawing
- Walking shoes
- Item(s) that have a deep meaning for you to place on the
altar. This helps create sacred space (optional)
- Bathing suit for hot tubs (optional)
- Backjack/stadium
chair (optional, the retreat center has some)
- Pillows, blanket and/or mat to lie on (using the bedding
from your room is permitted)
- Flashlight for walking trails at night
- Only covered drinking containers are permitted in
group rooms
- Specialty foods that the Center will probably not have
- If flying, a good book to pass the time in the airport. As
mentioned above, the airport experience can be a good time
to integrate forbearance (good humor) and patience. :)

"I've been searching for my authentic
self for years through talk therapy, churches and workshops.
All have been helpful but none so effective, intense or profound
as my Eupsychia experience. I've "accomplished" more
healing of deep seated grief and rage during 2 workshops
than in all else I've done.
I've felt for a long time that my life would always primarily be about recovery
from abuse, trauma and addiction, and less about full engagement, productivity
and service.
In one of the breathwork sessions it suddenly hit me that I can get well! I get
to live. I get to move beyond a frightful childhood experience into a beautiful,
engaging mysterious life filled with purpose, joy and love.
And indeed this is already true."
-M.N., HI
