Small Talk #6 (Jan 2003)
A MESSAGE FROM JACQUELYN SMALL, Founding Director of Eupsychia Institute:

Today, because our evolution is marching forward at a very rapid pace, a sacred courtship and marriage are in the works. The soul and ego are falling in Love. The soul who can soar above our conditions is overtaking our grounded ego's limited experience and bringing us into an expanded identity, incarnating through us as the transpersonal Self. We portray this as the one Humanity in the archetypal world we are bringing into manifestation here on earth (also known as the Fifth, or Spiritual, Kingdom). The ego's role is to get out of its own way and allow the soul to guide us into who and what we are in this higher dimension.

To consummate this inner marriage, we are to open now and receive the impressions from our soul, assimilate and express them, without the contamination of ego desire. These soul-impressions enter from within our own hearts and minds, and the teachings are experiential, for we must pass through the actual process of becoming them, as this is the only way we ever evolve. So we must listen carefully now, and feel our way into the soul's nature by sensing the urges that come through us from deep within. To recognize the soul's urges, we must be "in the flow" of living life one moment at a time, intending ours and others' best good. When in the flow, we feel spontaneous and free. Things just come. This is when we can trust our urges as those of a higher consciousness than our ego's limited ways. When filled with worry or trying to control the outcomes of the future, we lose our connection to the soul, and then we are at the mercy of the fickle and narcissistic ego.

All newness is coming in from the giant collective unconscious mind, the world of the soul, and the subjective dimension where the archetypal realities can affect us. Then, we must embody the soul here in this ordinary world and not be afraid to express in its new and spontaneous ways. When the ego and soul commit to their Divine Marriage, a new archetype is created and walks on this Earth -- the completed Self, the fully-blossomed Human.

As spiritual beings inhabiting human forms, we already know how to be spiritual; it's being fully human we've never yet learned how to be. For it hasn't been time until now for our species to come to fruition. And as we do this, we "seed" a new kingdom, the kingdom of souls.

This is what makes these times so compelling; we're about to do something here that's never been done before. We are undergoing a "species-shift" without giving up our physical bodies -- which means we're going to, for the first time ever, consciously participate in the process of our own evolution.

And this, of course, affects every aspect of our lives, our personal, professional, and planetary identities. From now on, your process of personal transformation will no longer feel separate from that of our planet Earth's. For it's all one dance of consciousness. It's all one truth and one Life.

With as much intensity as the ego seeks personal gratification, the soul, with one-pointed consciousness, strives to serve the whole. Consequently, much of what we learn from within is how to let go of personalistic preoccupations and accept the mantle of our soul's original purpose for incarnation, which is service. As we deepen our intention and moment-by --moment willingness to do this, we'll begin to ascend in consciousness to merge into the Ideal models for the new forms of life residing in the archetypal dimension of reality. We are the 'seeds' of the 6th Root Race which may not manifest fully on this planet for another 1,000 years. Yet, by blossoming our own unique pattern of a human individual, we simultaneously start to grow into a new body, mind and heart. Evolution is a fact! And the more you focus on what you are becoming, the more the "lords of evolution" will teach you how to consciously evolve into your own Ideal.

I am reminded of these poignant words of my dear visionary friend, Barbara Marx Hubbard, from her book Revelation: Our Consciousness is a Birth (p. 19):

We are the seed of a fully human species. Our desire to grow is the pulse and power of evolution itself, motivating us to realize and fulfill our life purpose. Deep personal stories often reveal the pattern of the future human.

Each of us is an expression of the overall evolutionary journey. By tracing our individual stories, we discover our unique participatory role in the great transformation of our time.

So join us anytime you can and discover members of your soul family you've always known, waiting to greet you and support your next right step in coming whole! if you've read this far, your new life is already beginning.
