SUMMONING YOUR INNER HEALER

A Guided Imagery Exercise

 

The purpose of this great subjective Helper is to magnetize, appropriate, and radiate the proper flow of energy, light, or power necessary to amplify one's healing process. The inner Healer works through the chakra system of the body, and chooses the chakra closest to the afflicted area of the body. When calling on your internal healing mechanism, it is important to remember that the Soul may have a goal for us concerning our life's plan that our intellects do not realize. It is not for us to question when one does not respond to a healing process – whether it be a conventional or an alternative one. The Soul may have completed what It came to do, and therefore is choosing a "way out." This is part of the mystery of Creation, a part we may never understand. It can be very calming, however, for people who are physically dying to recognize this fact. It gives meaning and sacred purpose to our suffering, and even to death.

This exercise is designed for two willing people working together, as if you are leading it for a friend who is struggling with illness of some sort. The process, of course, can be reversed where someone leads you through it. In either case, study the exercise thoroughly before attempting it. If the person undergoing the imagery responds well to music you can play some wordless, transcendental, heartfelt music in the background. The vibratory powers are healing on their own.

Throughout the process, both people should maintain an atmosphere of warmth, where you feel Love flowing between the two of you to the best of your abilities.

Begin by sitting quietly with your friend, contemplating the troublesome situation that is causing the "dis-ease." Then start guiding the process by saying):

Settle into a comfortable position, close your eyes, and begin to relax by taking some slow, deep breaths.

Now start to speak aloud, free-associating about the ways your soul is longing to express itself in this concrete world, and how it has gone astray … Let out any pent-up emotion – grief, rage, or existential angst about this situation …Stay in these feelings – be with the process–for as long as you need to, as long as your energy expression continues.

(It is crucial to release these loaded feelings, since physical ailment is often attached to unexpressed emotional pain or disillusionment, which may in itself actually be causing the illness).

Next have your friend say out loud with you:

We acknowledge one Creator. And we are aspects of this One. Therefore, we, as co-creators, have sacred powers that can assist in the healing process. We remove from the Law of Cause and Effect any conditions that are upholding this illness. We ask that the issue be resolved, through our willingness to co-operate with God's will, with Love.

(Allow a long pause here. If your friend is very weak, use your creative imagination to pass along some "life's blood." Loving Compassion and Nurturance are the greatest healers. These are not concepts; they are powers. So utilize these energies to their fullest extent.

Do not be afraid to offer your heart's Love, actually felt as it flows through your own chest cavity into the other's. If you are a magnetic healer, you will transfer your energy to them - as they may be too weak to access their own inner Healer. If you are a radiatory healer, you can amplify more of the person's own power source, so they can do this work for themselves.

Stay non-attached, yet completely present, and feeling, with enhanced heart-felt energies for the sake of your friend. You are "turning up the heat." But remember to retain your own sense of Self always, and do not get lost in the other.

After a period of quiet, continue the process by saying):

Now call for your Healing Angel to appear in your subjective reality … See, hear, or feel the energy as it surrounds you. And ask for guidance from this Inner Healer.

Hold the silence for quite awhile. Then proceed:

In the presence of this healing energy, breathe in light, and breathe out the suffering or pain, relaxing more and more as the healing process takes hold. Keep relaxing … more and more deeply … knowing that healing happens in the silence of our minds and hearts.

When the two of you are back once more in this ordinary reality, take some time to discuss what just occurred. Before ending, be sure to acknowledge and thank the Inner Healer. For the feeling of gratitude is also a healing power. And – especially if you are a magnetic healer – be sure that you as guide have disidentified from the other's process.
